1. Data controller
JOŽE PERPAR S.P. (EPJ Airbag Solutions), Mleščevo 10a, 1295 Ivančna Gorica,
Slovenia. Reg. no. 2003074000, tax no. 67550886.

2. What we collect
- Account data — email address, and the name and company you enter yourself.
- Job data — the ECU files you upload, the repaired files we return, and the vehicle details you type in (brand, model, ECU part number, your notes).
- Payment data — we receive from Stripe only the confirmation of payment, the amount and the tokens purchased. We never see or store your card number.
- Token history — purchases and deductions on your account.
ECU dumps can contain vehicle-specific data such as the VIN or configuration. We treat uploaded files as confidential and use them only to carry out your job.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis
- To provide the service and deliver repaired files — performance of our contract with you.
- To send service notifications (new job received, repaired file ready) — performance of our contract.
- To keep records required by accounting and tax law — legal obligation.
- To protect the service against misuse — our legitimate interest.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
4. Who processes data for us
- Google (Firebase) — hosting of the database, files and login. The database is hosted in the EU (europe-west1).
- Netlify — hosting of the website.
- Stripe — payment processing; Stripe is the controller for the payment data it collects from you directly.
- EmailJS — sending service notification emails.
Some of these providers are established outside the EU. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is done under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Uploaded and repaired files: kept while your account exists, so you can download them again. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.
- Account data: until you ask us to delete the account.
- Payment and accounting records: as long as tax law requires.
6. Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to perparjure@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully you can complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, ip-rs.si) or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
7. Cookies and similar technology
The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Login uses browser storage provided by Firebase Authentication to keep you signed in; without it the portal cannot work.
8. Security
Access to the portal requires a password. Files and database records are stored with Google Firebase and are reachable only through accounts authorised for them. No system is completely secure, so please keep your own copy of any original file that matters to you.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page.
